For God to say “no” to any of His promises He would have to take it away from Jesus.Religion has convinced us that the will of God is difficult to know, but just the opposite is true. God never acts inconsistent with His nature; He never does that which contradicts His name, He does exactly what Jesus showed He would do and He always stays true to the New Covenant. We should never be in doubt about the will of God in any situation, through the aforementioned factors it has been made undeniable.

When struggling with the faith-crippling influence of religion people ask, “But how do I know I’m worthy for Him to do all that for me?” Based on your personal performance, you’re not worthy. There are four things you must know: because you’re in Christ, (1) you are qualified for the inheritance, Colossians 1:12, (2) You have been made righteous, 2 Corinthians 5:21, (3) you are delivered from all the curses of the law, Galatians 3:13, (4) every promise God ever made to any is yours, 2 Corinthians 1:20!

The Covenant was made with Jesus, not you! The inheritance was given to Jesus, not you! You participate in the covenant and inheritance because you are in Jesus. The life you now have access to through faith in His resurrection is the quality of life provided by resurrection power. Since you’re in Christ God would have to hurt Jesus to hurt you. For God to say “no” to any of His promises He would have to take it away from Jesus. JOIN ME this week and explore the depths of the inheritance we have in this resurrection life!
