Nothing with God is automatic. In His proactive love He takes the first step of protection and provision. If we trust Him we respond. His resources are not magic that happens by working a formula; they are relational, which means when we need protection we connect to Him and follow where He leads. When we need provision we connect to Him personally to be led into that provision.
Experiencing resurrection life occurs when we, because of our trust for what He did, wrap ourselves around Jesus in such a way that there is no separation between Him and ourselves. The New Testament calls this “communion” or “fellowship.” The Old Testament called it waiting on the Lord (to wrap around or entwine).
Communion is when two people share jointly what actually only belongs to one. As we acknowledge and emotionally experience all the good things we have in Christ, we are connecting to the resurrection life. The Apostle Paul says this activates our faith. JOIN ME this week as we activate our faith to share in all the good things we have in Christ through this resurrection life!
