One of our self-imposed limitations to understanding and experiencing life in Jesus is the attempt to understand spiritual truth with carnal logic. We read God’s Word looking for formulas and rules completely missing the larger picture: the opportunity to see and know the heart of God!
God’s Word offers us His wisdom and logic for living life at its best, but wisdom is a matter of the heart. Wisdom understands and applies truth from God’s motive. Wisdom is preceded by a certain attitude that leads to understanding the logic, which leads to effective application, which leads to righteousness, peace and joy that can be felt and lived! And this entire process starts with faith: trust for the nature and motive of God.
God’s motive is love, love is comprehended in the light and light brings forth life. But our failure to grasp and commit ourselves to His definition of love begins our faulty logic. Corrupt love leads to a breakdown in the trifecta of life, light and love. I want to open the door to the mysteries laid bare in God’s Word that will take us down the path of Life, Light & Love!
Every Word of God has a numerical value and that value is part of what is used to comprehend and interpret that word. The very laws of physics are mathematical equations determined by God as the means to create all things and through which all things hold together. Attempting to know light, life or love independently of the other will never bring us to the desired outcome.
