When we are connected to Him we will sense and hear His direction leading us into protection and provision. In order to have a wonderful marriage the Bible says a man must leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife. That same concept and wording is used of our relationship with God. Interestingly, the original language says to cling in the Lord and in our spouse, not unto. This concept of clinging “in” is a heart matter. It speaks of the uniqueness of our connection, the bond the Bible calls “being one.”  If we are clinging or connected to someone in our heart as the language implies it would mean to be connected in every way we could possibly connect. It is similar to being glued to one another. This is what Jesus meant when He spoke of us being in Him, in the Father. God wants to be one with us in every possible way. Deuteronomy. 4:4 tells us this was the reason many Israelites survived when others didn’t. When we are connected to Him we will sense and hear His direction leading us into protection and provision. JOIN ME this week and let’s explore the secret place the Bible speaks of that we find when we are Being One with God!
