Our attempt to make spiritual reality fit into our finite mind is futility. All that God does is outside the realm of time and space. When we believe what Jesus accomplished through the cross and believe that we can participate in that event, in the realm of eternity it happens as if it is occurring at this very moment. In God’s view of time it is!
Our challenge of faith is to believe, perceive and experience death, burial and resurrection with Him in our hearts! To the degree that becomes real to us we will have the sense of leaving our old self in the grave. We will experience what it is like to be raised with Him above sin, death and all the curses of the law.
