Just as surely as the farmer can predict his crop based on the seed he sows, you can decide what will grow in your garden of life.It seems that most people assume only the negative aspect of this law works, but Jesus was very clear that it worked in the positive and the negative. When a farmer plants his garden he starts with determining what he wants to eat at harvest. When he decides what kind of harvest he wants, he simply plants that kind of seed.

Just as surely as the farmer can predict his crop based on the seed he sows, you can decide what will grow in your garden of life. If you want to rid yourself of chaos, sow seeds of peace. If you want an environment of love, sow seeds of love. As Paul warned, “don’t be deceived.” Don’t fool yourself about this; this law is absolute, i.e. you will always reap what you sow, don’t think you can violate it. But just as sure as it works around negative issues, it works around positive issues.
