...what you think about is what grows in your life.This phrase involves another aspect of the law of the seed. After planting a garden the gardener tends to the crop. The measure, or amount of attention he or she puts into caring for the crop determines whether the harvest will be 30, 60 or 100 fold return. One of the questions we must ask ourselves is “how much attention, thorough thought, worry, imagination, memory and talking about do I give to the negative things which have occurred in my life versus the promises of God?”

Sadly, even when we occasionally plant the Word of God in our heart, it dies from a lack of nourishment. But our problems grow because we give them such diligent attention. This law makes all this simple: what you think about is what grows in your life. This law explains why Paul gave this admonition: “…whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things. (Philippians 4:8).
