For thousands of years philosophers and scientists insisted the universe was eternal; yet the Bible said otherwise. Today it is common knowledge that this universe had a definite starting point. The more we understand that beginning the more we can make sense out of events that we currently do not understand. It’s the same way with God and His Word. Trying to understand His actions without knowledge of His first interactions with mankind would be like walking into the middle of a mystery movie and trying to make sense of it all. Without proper knowledge of the beginning, we’re just blindly assuming to understand what is happening.
