Few believers ever really see God as He revealed Himself; even fewer see themselves as God sees them.Israel is a type of the believer; Egypt is a type of slavery to sin and the world; their wanderings in the wilderness were a type of the carnal (natural-minded) Christian. Canaan was a type of entering into Kingdom living. Paul tells us everything that happened to Israel was a type for us.

When Israel was physically set free from Egypt they never were set free from their slave mentality. God meticulously taught them all the ways He was different than the pagan gods and how they were different because He had chosen them. They were a holy nation, but that was never how they saw themselves. Few believers ever really see God as He revealed Himself; even fewer see themselves as God sees them.

Because they would not see themselves as God declared them to be their unbelief made it impossible to follow God into Canaan. That’s the exact plight of Christians who cannot enter the realm of the Kingdom where righteousness, peace and joy rule their life. JOIN ME this week and discover the paradigm shift that makes it possible to see yourself as God sees you!
