Jesus’ ultimate expression of faith was in the grave when He overcame...all the curses of the law.Since Religionists deny that Jesus did all He did as a man, they miss the obvious: He walked in faith just like we do. What Jesus did in His life and ministry was not, however, the place where His faith wrought our salvation. Jesus’ ultimate expression of faith was in the grave when He overcame death, Hades, sickness, physical and emotional affliction and all the curses of the law.

These Messianic prophecies describing Jesus’ experience in the grave were repeated several times in the Old Testament, “The sorrows of death compassed me and the pains of Hell got hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul,” (Psalm 116:3-4). When Jesus was overwhelmed with the consequences of the sin of the world, He trusted, acknowledged and called on the Lord. He acknowledged the many prophecies about His resurrection. He trusted God in the face of overwhelming obstacles!

By His faith He overcame all the opposition we should have faced. Our salvation is faith from first to last: starting with the faith of Jesus and completed with our faith in what He did. JOIN ME this week to discover more about what Jesus did for you through His faith!
