The Great Deception Series

Description

The Bible warns of a time of immense darkness when deception will be so great that even the elect could be deceived. Jesus didn’t foretell of this horrific time to frighten us; He wanted us to know and prepare. James tells us there are things we can do to ensure we never fall! No matter what befalls the world, if we are disciples of Jesus, we will never be deceived, and we will never fall. Here is how the Bible describes the time of the Great Deception and the antidotes:

• Great Deception: Love will grow cold
  The Antidote: We commit ourselves to a life of love
• Great Deception: People will heap teachers unto themselves
  The Antidote: We learn to hear the Holy Spirit for ourselves
• Great Deception: Cannot endure sound doctrine
  The Antidote: We test all doctrine by putting it into practice
• Great Deception: Become selfish
  The Antidote: We die to self
• Great Deception: People will betray one another
  The Antidote: We love our neighbor as ourselves
• Great Deception: False doctrine opposing righteousness
  The Antidote: We commune with the Father through the Lord Jesus
• Great Deception: Christians give heed to myths and private revelations
  The Antidote: We trust God’s Word and submit to the Lordship of Jesus

The perfect storm is gathering, and almost all that man has ever trusted is falling. Greed and corruption are rampant in governments, churches, and families. No one knows who to trust. Religion has so perverted “the faith” that people don’t feel they can even read and understand the Bible for themselves. They don’t trust their heart to hear the Holy Spirit!

This powerful series is the antidote to the perfect storm. It provides us with ways to identify what is happening in the world and how to “zero in” on the real thing. Where sin abounds, grace does much more abound! This series will open your eyes to the subtle deception that is corrupting the Church and the world, but more importantly, it will show you how to overcome it.  The prophet Daniel said, Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery, but the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits (Daniel 11:32). You can be among those who do great exploits!
