Today is like so many days; it started out great, which is always my choice. Then I had some energy challenges. Honestly, when I struggle with energy, it’s more difficult than dealing with pain. Unless pain is horrific, I can still work. But when energy is the issue, it clouds my mind and stifles my creativity.
When I face these challenges, I do exactly what I teach you to do. I recover sight. I look at these situations from God’s perspective, from the perspective of eternity. In light of eternity, this is nothing but a momentary light affliction. Then I look at it from the perspective of the cross. Jesus took this affliction, it is not mine. Yes, it is real, but it is not my reality!
Like I have taught you in the miracle of the fish and bread, we are not ready to bless our circumstance until we have recovered sight. Or, as you are learning from this month’s CyberChurch broadcast, until you have God’s perspective of reality! Then, when you speak blessings over your body or your circumstances, your words have life.
If you go back to what I taught you in the Trifecta series, you remember that light, i.e., information, cannot bring life to our situation. Light never brings life. Instead, life brings light. When we are connected to life through the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus our spoken words of faith actually carry life and light!
The things I teach you in CyberChurch, and through all of my materials, are designed to always take you to the place of life, light and love! I intend to keep you intimately connected to Jesus as Lord, Savior and Teacher! If you’re making this journey with me, you are walking the path of the disciple! More and more, Jesus is becoming the true compass for your life.
Please put these things into practice. Don’t store information that you never use. If you do, one day it will be the weight around your neck that weighs you down. Truth never put into practice becomes a source of frustration and condemnation.
Please understand, I’m not saying you should run out and try to find some way to prove you are putting it in practice. I’m saying when circumstances come into your life that are contrary to what you have in Christ, put the Word into practice. When you do, you will experience freedom, and this experience of freedom is real freedom.
BTW… great things are happening in our attempts to reach around the world. We are partnering with more people and ministries that share our passion to develop one billion disciples, consequently our outreach is growing. We just allowed our CyberChurch broadcast to be put on another network. The first broadcast has the potential to double the number of people we are reaching.
Over the next few weeks I will be having several very significant meetings about how we will seize even more of the opportunities that are being presented to us.
