Quote for Blog - 052616You may not really need more faith. Religion has taught us to respond to difficulties in ways that are sometimes very different than what the scripture says.

James says when you are tested, tried, scrutinized, or made to strain there are are some important do’s and don’ts. First, we must let patience have its perfect work. In other words, believe and don’t waver. But how does one do that?

In vs 13 of James 1 it says, Never say when you are tested, tried, scrutinized or made to strain that it is from God. Why? If you ever attribute the destruction of the world to God, you can’t trust Him to help you. He can’t be both the tormentor and the deliverer!

He then goes on to say the good and perfect gifts are always from God. In other words, the bad things are not! In CyberChurch, you can learn to tap into an immovable trust for God in Faith and Patience!

Interestingly, he doesn’t tell us to ask for a miracle or more faith when we find ourselves straining against opposition, he tells us to seek wisdom. Wisdom is the practical application of truth. Wisdom comes from the mouth of God. Since all of our needs are met in Jesus, and we’re in Him, the miracle is already ours. We need God’s plan for walking it out in real life; and God will always show how to apply truth in a way that works in your current situation.
