God is always leading us down a path that our heart can trust.
Since we know God’s names and His promises, we always know where God is leading. What we don’t know is the path He will take to get us there. We want a way that is familiar to us, and we want to put our faith in the path/process. We convince ourselves we are following God, but the truth is we are following the path that makes sense to us. The Holy Spirit speaks to our heart to assure us of God’s promise and that we are right on track, but rather than face the insecurity of walking an unknown path, we thank God for what He shows us and we say, “I’ll take it from here!”
Our past experience defines how we can manifest the miracle we need while still feeling safe. We want God to come to our path and bless our decision rather than walk the path He is walking. Among godly people sincerely seeking God’s solutions, this may be the main reason they do not see the promise manifest as it should.
The Kingdom of God is a realm, an internal destination that can only be found by harmonizing with the Holy Spirit, by listening to His voice, and by following in His footsteps. Ask yourself: Do I ever recognize the voice of God speaking or leading me? Am I uncomfortable when I feel led to walk a path that is foreign to me? Do I trust God is always leading me to the very best life possible?
