5. The Christmas Promise

When the Angel appeared to the Shepherds to announce the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Messiah, it marked a monumental moment in history. Such was the significance that a heavenly host broke forth in prophetic praise to God that included a prophetic promise to mankind. The joy of this celebration was so immense that even heaven could not contain it. “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” This prophetic message hinted at something not seen since the fall of Adam and Eve. While some parts of this message are straightforward, there is a profound promise subtly woven within that we often overlook.
