God has already expressed His will about most matters of life, by what He accomplished through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. We have no need to pray about anything where His will has been expressed, i.e. His decision has been made. Faith is not when we persuade God to respond to us; faith is when we respond to God because we trust Him.
Most of what we’re waiting to hear from God, He has already spoken and told us what to do. The healing from our deep emotional hurt and rejection that we’re begging God to grant has already been given. We have to make the decision to believe and act on God’s prescription for wholeness.
