Kingdom Promises…Unfulfilled? Series

Description

Solomon dedicated the Temple, he blessed the people and said, “Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise” (1 Kings 8:56, NKJV). He then prayed for God to be with them just as He was with their forefathers.

The first time I read that Scripture, I asked myself:

• Are all the promises mine?
• Am I experiencing what I expected?
• Does it seem that some of the promises have failed?
• Is God always with me?
• Am I losing hope in the fulfillment of specific promises?
• Is there anything I can do to experience more of God’s promise to me?

Every day I talk to believers who have lost confidence in the fulfillment of God’s promises. It’s so easy to get lost in the maze of formulas and works righteousness. Sometimes it seems easier to give up hope!

Let your hope revive as you discover a new aspect of  Kingdom promises. Move past the discouragement of unfulfilled promises into a new quality of life. Reach the end of your life and be able to say, “There has not failed one word of all His good promises for me!”
