September 2016 World Changer Letter

I know life is full of challenges but one thing I’m sure of, God will deliver us from them all. I love miracles and I know you do, too. I’m so grateful for the many times God has miraculously delivered me. But when the situation was the result of improper beliefs or bad decision-making my deliverance usually came in the form of needing to grow personally.

The great thing about personal growth is it assures we won’t repeat the problem over and over. Those who don’t grow and change create the same messes again and again, and each time they want God to fix it for them. If they don’t get their miracle they too often fulfill the words of Proverbs 19:3, The foolishness of a man twists his way, And his heart frets against the Lord.

One of the essential truths that has been lost in this generation is the message of the Kingdom.  Two of the most fundamental aspects of the Kingdom are the Lordship of Jesus and our call to discipleship. We aren’t supposed to simply make converts; we are commissioned to make disciples by training people to build their lives on the teaching of the Lord Jesus, i.e. His interpretation and application of all that God has ever said.

When we build our life on the wisdom of His Word because we trust Him a new stability comes to our life that’s beyond anything we’ve ever experienced. The problem is, so few Christians have ever really put God’s Word to the test; therefore, when their back is against the wall they default to the same beliefs, emotions, thoughts, opinions and behavior that created the problem.

The test is not, “I’m going to try this to see what You do.” That is testing or tempting God. The test is, “Because I trust You I will build my life on Your Word and prove Your wisdom and faithfulness.”

Because of the extremes of the past Christians are abandoning the Word, the gifts of the Holy Spirit and some of the fundamental truths of the Scripture. But if there were ever a time to cling to God and His Word as well as the gifts of the Holy Spirit, it’s today!

From the beginning of this ministry our goal has been to develop disciples who fully trust and follow Jesus as Lord. By helping you become dependent on Jesus instead of me you haven’t only become more stable, you’ve become more capable of blessing others. I receive phenomenal testimonies nearly every day from believers who have incredible breakthroughs.  The greatest thing about their breakthrough is that I didn’t have to be there to make it happen.

All over the world people are learning to connect with God for themselves. They are learning and believing the New Covenant instead of a religious substitute. Those people are multiplying the message that you are sending to them.

Even though you and I are not present when these people around the world have their breakthroughs, we are present through the tools and instruction that we provided for them. Because we work together to make disciples we don’t have to be there for them to connect to God. We teach them how to connect to God for themselves!

One thing I used to do in business was try to create an environment where I didn’t have to be present and working to make money. That’s what made it possible for me to create my personal income and still be in full-time ministry! And that’s the same principle we apply in reaching the world. You and I don’t have to be there, a missionary doesn’t have to be there, there doesn’t need to be a crusade, there doesn’t even need to be someone to lay hands on them. They know how to connect with God for themselves.

Thank you for all you are doing to help us reach and train One Billion Disciples around the world!

Blessings,

Jim Richards

Jim,

I’ve been following you for a few years and I’m thankful that I ran into your ministry. As a new pastor planting a new church I’ve been blessed by your mindset to the truth of the Word. I love the angles of truth and your ability to speak to insecure leadership.

I’ve been challenged by your writing to not be a leader “in the church” that is motivated by fulfilling my own insecurities.

It’s amazing how liberating and free it feels to lead from a place of truth and not relying on self-gratification through fleshly desires. When I try to understand and calculate everything in ministry I tend to want control and not just let God be.

Thanks for teaching the way of true faith in God. They are practical principles that lead to building a healthy organization. But it has taken me having to just jump out in truth and faith and having the understanding catch up to speed. What a backwards way of previous thought processes from the old me!  ~SJ~

Thanks for writing Satan Unmasked, the most liberating book I have ever read! My heart is soaring because it was exactly what I needed to cure my double-mindedness. The impact of all the other books I have read about the devil throughout Christendom was often oppression and fear. I didn’t know that until yours opened my eyes to the problem.

Thank you, my brother, for exposing a moron!          ~FB~

I have been talking to a lady in Uruguay for two months.  She was raised Catholic but I have shared Jesus with her, etc.  Saturday evening I spent an hour with her [talking about] The Trifecta, God’s love, and her heart after cultivating a relationship with Him and experiencing this.

I received a message today that she gave her life to God and she said “I feel so much better and happier – like God lifted a burden off of my heart.”  AMEN!         ~TS~

Just wanted to comment on how well your website is working now – very quick and straight-forward! Thanks for fixing it!   ~GR~

Dear Dr. Richards and Staff,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you so very, very much for all the free downloads and teachings you have given me via my app with your ministry.  I wish you truly could see and know how often I have your teachings on.  They are not just life-changing but life-sustaining for me because listening to them has re-routed my brain from thinking what I thought to be truth to purposely determining to pursue the real truth of Jesus Christ and what He has done for us.

We don’t even realize how we have conformed to the culture of what we were taught “is” when, in fact, what is….is the truth of God’s Word.  However, it is a choice to pursue and say, “No, there is higher truth than what I can only see, feel and touch.

We all have to reach the point in our life when we say, “here are my non-negotiables -.not up for debate -.here is what I believe based on God’s Word alone.  Not what is seen, not what I feel and not my circumstances because the truth is, what I see today will change tomorrow but truth does not change.

At any rate, thank you again for your generosity in sharing your teachings for free.  Bless you a thousand fold.   ~DR~
