It doesn’t take a great mind to realize our country and the world is in great peril. This is not the kind of trouble that goes away; even if the immediate crisis ends, those who provoke and benefit from these crises will not stop until they have destroyed our country and taken over the world.

I’m not surprised that any of this is happening. After all, the Bible lays this out very plainly. Anyone who reads and believes the Bible has known this was coming. What we didn’t know was when it would come.

Jesus taught about these times coming upon the earth like a thief in the night. We have assumed that God had some mystical date set for these things to happen, and He was not willing to warn us. The truth is, there was no date set for this. God gave control of Planet Earth to man; what happens and when it happens is completely in our hands. What we do and don’t do is the determining factor.

Only a small segment of the modern church has understood its role in society: we are the light; we are the salt. As salt, we are the preservative of the planet and of the human race. But as Jesus warned, “If the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men” (Mt 5:13).

Much of the church has become compromised by legalism or liberalism; it has no preserving power. And because it has become so much like the world, the only way to know the difference is through our empty words.

We, above all people, should recognize the signs of the times. Jesus warned that in the great tumult that would lead to the tribulation there would be race wars. When He said, “nation will rise against nation,” the Greek means “ethnos against ethnos” (ethnic and racial groups). Almost all the wars in the world today are based on ethnic conflict.

One aspect of King David’s military might was based on the tribe of Issachar. 1 Chronicles 12:32 says, “…the sons of Issachar… had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.” Many people in power know what to do, but they can’t do it. God’s Word for moral and civil justice has been rejected and replaced with Luciferian, humanist doctrine. This is what the Bible calls lawlessness or iniquity, according to which translation you read.

I grew up in a violent world. I knew many criminals and gangsters. One of the things that everyone knows is this: if you do not stop lawlessness at the first action, it emboldens the criminals to become even more violent and lawless. You may ask, “Why, if our leaders know this, do they allow it to happen?” The answer is simple. It reveals the great mystery of iniquity that prepares the way for the man of lawlessness: the antichrist!

Anyone who thinks there is a logical reason to allow thieves, looters, murderers, and vandals to run freely and “have room to express themselves,” fits into one or more of just a few categories.

  • They are elitists, seeking to use these crises as a way to destroy our country and become part of the ruling class.
  • They are incredibly evil and revel in the destruction of an orderly society.
  • They are absolute fools, who have no business in leadership of any kind (especially ministry).
  • They, too, are greedy liars and thieves who seek to exploit the situation.

My heart broke as I watched hard-working men and women lose their life’s dreams, their means of income, to criminals as the police were told to step down. I couldn’t imagine the horror of helpless people being beaten in the streets by a mob, as “innocent protesters” stood by and made videos on their cell phones. I felt shame for our nation as police officers were pelted with rocks and bottles while being refused the right to protect themselves, and the obligation to protect the innocent! I would bet that today, many of them felt ashamed to even put on their uniform after such humiliation!

For decades I have warned, “these things will come in our lifetime!” I have been ridiculed, accused of being negative and fearful, and in some instances labeled a heretic! But it was for people like you that I kept warning! I knew the great majority of the church would never listen, and they would rather live in denial of the Scripture and rejection of Jesus’ teaching. Many will ultimately deny Jesus if it means they have to make a choice!

You, on the other hand, have listened! You have not only listened for yourself, you have listened for the sake of others that you can reach and help. Now, I will give you words of wisdom!

Jesus said that this will be just as it was in the day of Noah. Too many people focus totally on the fact that the world got more and more evil in the days of Noah until God had to intervene. That’s true, but remember this: Noah built an ark, and those who listened entered into the ark for safety.

The parable of the ten virgins points out the difference between believers who are not diligent to prepare their hearts and those who are. They, just like Noah’s family, followed God to a place of refuge!

Those who know and trust the character and nature of God know that Jesus is not coming a second time to destroy the world, but to destroy those who persecute and kill the righteous. He is our ark of salvation, safety, and deliverance!

Keep oil in your lamp. Don’t focus or get obsessed with all that’s going wrong. This is the time to sharpen your awareness of Christ in you to develop your ears to hear and trust what the Lord is saying to you!

These things can be postponed if we use our faith and authority. Pray the way Jesus taught us to pray: don’t beg God to take action; you take action, call forth righteousness and justice!

And let’s do the one thing that will prepare the way of the Lord Jesus to deliver us from this wickedness – let’s continue to take the gospel of the kingdom to the ends of the earth! I am multiplying my efforts to get my books, videos, and leadership training materials into all the world in as many languages as possible. God is raising up people who want to translate, give, and work to make this happen.

While the rest of the world is in shock, disbelief, and fear we will continue to labor and

…Together we will continue to change the way the world sees God!

Blessings,
Jim
