Mercy and grace seem like pretty simple concepts of New Covenant theology. But sometimes, the simplest concepts have the deepest roots. God’s character is rooted in mercy, compassion, patience, kindness, and goodness. We never have to wonder if He’s in a bad mood or speculate what we will encounter in our times of need, failure, and challenges.
In seeking to grasp and experience the realities of mercy and truth, we will discover the incredible glory and unlimited power of God, the paradoxical dimensions of truth so vast they can only be experienced but never explained; complementary opposites that move us beyond the finite boundaries of the human mind while introducing us to the vast expressions of the Logos, and the unlimited abundance of grace.
