June was the official launch of my new book, Moving Your Invisible Boundaries. We are already receiving all manner of testimonies from those who received the first run specials. I really believe this book will be part of a revolution stimulating the return to a relationship with God based on the heart instead of outward behavior! July is a time when we reflect on and celebrate our independence! Right now, any citizen who understands God’s values and has an inkling of the importance of the Constitution is concerned about our continual loss of freedoms. It is hard to celebrate when it seems that both of our parties, Republican and Democrat, are so bent on controlling our lives for the sake of the economic advantages of the elite, idealistic, humanistic philosophies, or outright anti-God sentiment!
If God were not our source it would be easy to get depressed. But the Word of God says Rejoice in the Lord always! It doesn’t say rejoice in the circumstances but rejoice in the Lord. In other words, I should stay connected to God in such a way that I always see a reason for rejoicing. I know there is more to this Scripture than that, but I also realize when I can’t find a reason to rejoice I am focused on other things more than I am focused on God. Remember, the thing that affects us most is that upon which we focus our attention.
I want you to know why I can keep rejoicing even when it seems our country is falling apart:
1. This world is only temporary. I am the citizen of another realm.
2. Even if the world were going wonderfully I would still prefer that Jesus return and set up His kingdom in true righteousness.
3. The idea of freedom in any country is only an illusion. If you never accept the illusion your emotions do not change with the changing circumstances.
4. It would still take very few righteous believers in agreement to turn our country around.
It is appropriate that we are talking about prayer this month. Believers who know how to pray based on the New Covenant are the real secret to the freedom of America. I trust you are using July as a time of speaking blessings on your life and on our nation! Get a picture of us as free, godly, and following God and speak it over your life and over our nation. Call us free, godly, and prosperous. It would only take a few thousands believers in harmony to bring about the change.
While wickedness is a problem in our nation, it is not the root problem. The root problem is the unbelief of the body of Christ. Because we are not steadfast in our Covenant we don’t know our authority. We don’t know that we have the right to declare God’s will in our nation. It would have only taken ten righteous men to deliver Sodom (Genesis 18:32). Based on research about the power of agreement it would only take a few thousand people speaking and believing to turn America around. It isn’t enough that we don’t know our authority. Most of the Church is speaking curses over our nation. Their lack of understanding of the New Covenant leads them to believe and pronounce curses on our country. They don’t know the Covenant of Peace; therefore, they speak curses and overthrow our nation. By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted, But it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked (Proverbs 11:11).
As for you, stay in faith. Follow God in your own heart. Allow Him to be your Shepherd and He will lead you away from lack and into His provision. Make it a way of life to speak the blessing of God over your life. Anytime you have a negative thought just command, “No!” Then replace it with a promise of God. Your emotions will change, your thoughts will change, and eventually your heart will change. When that happens your circumstances must align with your beliefs.
